Interstage coolers and After-coolers are used for cooling the compressed gas/air in various stages of compression. Interstage cooler is used for cooling between various stages of the compressor and After Cooler is used for cooling the final stage of compression. It is widely used in gas compression stations and Booster compression stations of various gases particularly for Natural Gas.
